Gutter Filler will easily handle heavy flows of rainwater on steep
roofs and valleys.
Gutter Filler’s ultimate rain-handling capacity is rated at 10 times your normal rainfall. This extra capacity is essential for handling heavy water flow from roof valleys.
The flow of water is often so intense and so fast on steep roofs
and in valleys, it’s a challenge for most other gutter protection
devices to handle.
Gutter Filler will easily handle heavy flows of rainwater on steep
roofs and valleys. This material handles high flow rates of up to
24 inches of rain per hour, which is ten times the average rain
fall. Just watch this demonstration of our bucket brigade.
Some
people initially think Gutter Filler is some type of sponge. However,
a sponge is designed to soak up and hold water.
Gutter Filler
is NOT a SPONGE!! It doesn’t soak up water, it filters it
– allowing water to pass through freely.
Some have even suggested that they could cut up some foam cushion
and put it in their gutters instead of Gutter Filler.
Such
foams are not like Gutter Filler; they are not porous, and they will
not work in your gutters! So, Gutter Filler easily handles heavy
water flow, where other products fail.
Please note that all gutters require slope to drain quickly during a heavy rain. Proper slope
of 1" per ten feet of gutter is best, but on very long lengths that may not be possible,
so make sure you have a least 1/2" per ten feet of gutter.
